Western Park Apartments
Close to San Francisco's Cathedral Hill, Western Park Apartments is a comfortable, secure home for low- and moderate-income seniors, aged 62 and older, and for other federally-qualified people. Western Park comprises studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and cottage apartments. Residents enjoy a beautiful freshly decorated dining room, living room, roof-top garden and atrium, library, and social room.
Western Park is also a community filled with options. From exercise classes to ice cream socials, to concerts and movies-there's something for everyone. For a small additional charge, residents may choose to partake of the meals served each weekday evening.
Some of the apartments are eligible for HUD subsidy and others are "market-rate." Residents who qualify for Section 8 subsidy pay approximately 30% of their adjusted monthly income for rent and utilities, providing that a Section 8 apartment is available. For "market-rate" residents, the cost is 30% of their income or the basic rent, whichever figure is higher.
